Show checklist

On this page

Use this for an installation whose sensors and saved setup have not changed. If a sensor moved or surfaces look doubled, repeat Calibration. For a first installation, start with What you need.

Before the show

  1. Connect the monitor, keyboard, and mouse to the server, then power on. Check that the workspace opens automatically.
  2. Check that Sensors in the top bar shows every installed sensor and Calibration shows Complete.
  3. Open Settings and wait for the preview. Nothing is broadcasting yet.
  4. Check the capture zones against the performance area. If the set or orientation changed, clear the stage and learn the background again.
  5. Open the receiving project, check its OSC IP and port, then select Test connection and verify that /movin/test arrives.
  6. Select GO LIVE in the top bar, wait for READY, then select Go live in the panel.
  7. Have a person walk and raise an arm; verify position, direction, and movement in the receiving view.

During the show

  • Monitor LIVE, Sensors, People, OSC, and the receiving application together.
  • If a sensor drops out or is flagged as tilted, the show keeps running — see Troubleshooting.
  • Restart briefly interrupts processing and output. Plan a break if you need to apply a changed person limit or Tracking engine.

End the show

  1. If recording, select Recording → Stop to finish the recording.
  2. Select END LIVE and confirm. Broadcasting stops; preview continues.
  3. When finished, select Pipeline → Stop pipeline. This does not turn off the server.
  4. For packing, follow Shut down and pack away: use Shutdown and wait for power-off before disconnecting.
